Trial

Trial starts when the app first launches and connects to the authorization service. It lasts 3 days. The trial lease refreshes about every 48 hours. If offline too long, the app only asks to reconnect; local data is not touched.

Activation

The purchase key is only an activation credential; it does not unlock the app directly. The app exchanges it for paid provisional access bound to this Mac, then discards the raw key.

Finalize

After the refund window, the app needs one online finalize to complete permanent authorization. Once successful, the permanent certificate replaces the provisional one and daily use works long-term offline.

Moving Macs

1 License activates up to 2 Macs at a time. After both seats are used, release an old device first, then activate the new one.
